Virtual Island - Historical PEI

Each of the three schools involved in the project had a 3d virtual period home created for them by designer Chris Bulman. The homes represent the slightly different architectural styles which would have been common in each school's community around the turn of the 20th century. Classes have populated each house with images and descriptions from their research, and visitors can tour these "living archives" by viewing the videos below.

To actually enter the Virtual Island in Open Sim and navigate the houses using an avatar, please select "Enter Open Sim" .

Pour chacune des trois écoles qui ont participé au projet le concepteur Chris Bulman a créé une maison d'époque virtuelle 3D. Les maisons représentent un peu les différents styles architecturaux communs dans la communauté scolaire de chaque école au tournant du 20e siècle. Les classes ont équipé chaque maison avec des images et des descriptions de leurs recherches, et les visiteurs peuvent faire un tour de ces « archives vivantes » en visionnant les vidéos ci-dessous.

Pour entrer dans l’Île virtuelle dans OpenSim et naviguer dans la maison en utilisant un avatar, veuillez cliquer sur l’option « Entrer OpenSim ».
